Laboring as Usual

Good afternoon. I just couldn’t do it this morning. I felt like…well you paint the picture for yourself. It’s hard to get through a two hour show when you feel like that.
I’ve rallied and we’re ready for the Nooner.

Not a heck of a lot to report this morjning. The big news is still The President’s speeches this week.
The one to Congress is still in the works…and is being overshadowed by this…It’s a shocking piece of political propaganda…suggesting that kids do outrageous things like putting down their X-box to study..set goals, treat each other with respect…
It suggests they get in lock step with the President’s Liberal manifesto ,by…(cover your ears), finishing their High School degree.

What a joke. Someone is going to say this speech changed as a result of the complaints. I doubt it. I’ll be interested to hear if the Iowa School Districts that said they needed to pre-screen the speech will actually do it. If they wait and do it tomorrow and hope the issue just goes away…it will be clear to me their hesitation had nothing to do with looking out for their student’s best interest and that’s sad.

I am going to go enjoy the rest of my Labor Day.
