A hearing date on a change of venue motion has been set for a Huxley women accused of killing her newborn twins.

Twenty-two-year-old Jackie Burkle is hoping to have her first degree murder trial moved out of Story County. A hearing on the matter has been set for March 9th.

Burkle is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of her newborn twin girls. Authorities found the babies’ bodies in the trunk of Burkle’s car on January 6th. Police had been called to check on Burkle.

Burkle’s trial is scheduled for April 3rd.
