It happened on the on ramp from Highway 20 to Interstate 35 in Hamilton County around 1:45 Wednesday.

Trooper Jeremy Schaffer was sitting in his car with a driver from another collision when a semi slid into the car.

Schaffer and the driver in his car were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
