A Marion County man has been found guilty of first degree murder in the death of his wife.

A jury found Michael Miller guilty Thursday, in the death of Teresa Miller. Evidence showed Miller paid another man, Terry Cobbins, Jr. to kill his wife. Cobbins was convicted of first degree murder in the case earlier this month.

Teresa Miller’s body was found in her rural Knoxville home on January 7th, 2011. She died of gunshot wounds.

Miller’s trial was held in Clarke County because of pre-trial publicity.

Miller and Cobbins will be sentenced on April 27th to the mandatory sentence of life in prison.
