OAKS DAY: A Day For The Ladies

Years ago, the Friday before the Derby was known as just the day before the Derby.  That was until someone said, since the Kentucky Oaks is a race for the Fillies, let’s dedicate everything else to the ladies as well.

The horses own the track, but everything else belongs to the ladies and their fashion.

Where else can you dress bold enough to stop traffic? Or wear a hat big enough to need turn signals.

The Lily is a drink, for the ladies in pink.

Oaks day stands on its own.  Supporting cancer causes and giving girls the perfect excuse to dress to the nines, two days in a row.
