Severe storms in western Iowa injured three people camping at a state park.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says an early morning storm caused a tree to fall on a tent at Lake Manawa State Park in Council Bluffs Saturday.

Three people in the tent, two adults and a three-year old boy were all taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
