GIRLS SOFTBALL: Norwalk At Roosevelt

From afternoon baseball to afternoon softball and a little inter-class matchup at Roosevelt High School.
Waukee taking on the Roughriders in the first of two.

First inning, two on for Sierra Nelson who grounds to second, 5-hole! Error plates two, Norwalk with the lead.

Roosevelt loads the bases in the bottom of the inning with no outs.   Jillian Brown draws a walk to score Sarah Ramundt, but the Riders only get one run.

Top three, Abbey Montgomery with a hot shot down the line that she beats out for an RBI infield single.  Waukee goes on to take game #1, 5-1.
