SWEET TREAT: Cookies To Help Cancer Foundation

Cookies for a Cure kicks off Tuesday at Hy-Vee stores across the state.

For each cookie sold, Hy-Vee is donating a penny to the leukemia lymphoma society.

The campaign kicks off Tuesday at metro Hy-Vee stores and will continue through June 25th.

The money raised will fund programs and services for people battling blood cancers as well as their families.

Cookies for a cure raised more than $5,400 dollars last year.
