WINNING TICKET: Powerball Sold In Iowa
Authorities say someone in eastern Iowa bought the winning $241 million Powerball Jackpot ticket.
The winner hasn’t come forward yet. Lottery officials say that’s typical as winners usually consult a legal adviser.
The ticket was purchased at the Hy-Vee on Edgewood Road in Cedar Rapids. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the ticket.
Lottery officials say the jackpot is the largest to date in Iowa. It is the 15th largest Powerball jackpot ever.
