HEART WALK: American Heart Association’s Annual Walk

Thousands of walkers will hit the streets of downtown Des Moines Saturday in an effort to find a cure for America’s number one killer, Heart Disease.

The American Heart Association’s Annual Heart Walk kicks off from the Iowa State Capitol at 9:00 a.m.

Walkers can choose between a one or three mile route. 

Following the trek, walkers can kick back to the sounds of country music star Jason Brown.
