TEEN DIES: Death Ruled A Homicide

Des Moines Police are investigating a homicide on the city’s east side.

Officers were called to 606 Boyd Street just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday on a report of a woman who wasn’t breathing.When the fire department arrived, they found 18-year-old Judy Vanlo dead in the home.

Detectives interviewed family and friends at the home, but are not releasing any further information at this time.

There have been no arrests in the case.
