BOIL ADVISORY: DNR Warns Dayton Residents
A boil advisory has been issued for the city of Dayton in Webster County.
Maintenance work is being done on its water tower, causing a drop in water pressure. The lower pressure can cause contaminants to enter into the water system.
Residents are being asked to boil any water for drinking or cook for at least a minute before cooling it for use. Residents should also conserve water until the work on the water tower is completed.
Bottled water can be used to help avoid bacterial contamination.
