VEHICULAR HOMICIDE: Des Moines Man Charged

A Des Moines man is now charged with vehicular homicide for his role in a deadly crash earlier this month.

Twenty eight year-old Lucas Isleman was arrested Wednesday and charged with Homicide by Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Windsor Heights Police say Isleman was driving drunk when he hit a Ford Ranger on I-235 on June 10th.

A passenger in the truck, Anita Gummert of Marshalltown, died from her injuries days later.

Isleman is being held on a $50,000 bond.
