SEBRING DENIED: E-Mails Can Be Released
A judge has ruled e-mails from Nancy Sebring’s district account can be released.
Sebring, the former superintendent of the Des Moines School District filed an injunction that would allow her to review and approve e-mails requested under the open records law.
Judge Robert Hanson filed his ruling in the case Friday afternoon.
Previous e-mails contained sexually explicit details of an extra-marital affair with a man who had ties to the Des Moines School District. That man is also asking the judge to keep his identity confidential.
Sebring accepted a job in Omaha in April.She resigned from it and stepped down immediately as superintendent in Des Moines when the e-mails were released.
