VANLO HOMICIDE: Material Witness Extradition

Des Moines police say the material witness in a homicide case won’t fight extradition.

Police want to talk to Raymond Benitez about the death of 18-year-old Judy VanLo.

She was found dead in her home on June 17th.

Friends of VanLo’s say she was pregnant and Benitez was her boyfriend.

Police caught up with Benitez in Brownsville, Texas last Friday. Authorities say he was trying to cross the border into Mexico.

Des Moines police say Benitez should be back in the metro within the next 10 days.
