COMPLEX ISSUES: Project Needs Private Funding

The city of Ankeny and the Ankeny Public School District say they support a plan to build a world-class athletic complex in the city, but they won’t help pay for it.

City and school leaders issued a joint statement saying it’s in the best interest of taxpayers that the proposed complex be privately funded.
