SCALETTA RETIRES: Prison Spokesperson Retires

After more than three decades serving as the face and voice of the Iowa Department of Corrections, Fred Scaletta is calling it a career.

Scaletta has been with the department for 35 years.

We talked with him after he left his office for the last time Friday.

Scaletta is retiring to Arizona where he’ll work as an insurance investigator.
