FATAL ACCIDENT: Man Killed Near Worthington

A Worthington man was killed when his car went off the road and into a river Sunday morning. 

It happened around 8:30 Sunday morning just west of Worthington. 

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 64-year-old Robert Jesenovec was driving westbound when his car went off the road and rolled into the Maquoketa River. 

Jesenovic was wearing his seatbelt and was trapped in the car. 

The accident is still under investigation
