BRANSTAD HOSPITALIZED: Governor Chokes On Carrot

Governor Branstad was briefly hospitalized Wednesday in California.

Branstad’s spokesman Tim Albrect tells us the Governor choked while eating carrots.  Branstad was taken to the hospital as a precaution and is expected to be fine.

Branstad is in California for the commissioning of the new USS Iowa museum.
