EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING: Continues To Saturday

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the State of Iowa, which is in effect until 7 am Saturday. Temperature heat indices of 100 to 110 degrees are expected Thursday and Friday afternoon. High temperatures upper 90 to 100 degrees. Heat Indices will remain in the 90′s to low 100′s during the evenings resulting in little relief.
