POWER OUTAGE: Over 4,000 Lose Power

MidAmerican is dealing with a power outage in the Urbandale area. 

It happened around 7:30 Wednesday night, there was a problem at a substation in Urbandale. 

At the peak, 4,227 people were without power.   

Around 9:30, power was restored to about 900 people. 

MidAmerican is in the process of switching people to a new circuit. They say all power will likely be restored Wednesday night.
