SEBRING BACKLASH: Army Captain Fired
The recipient of Dr. Nancy Sebring’s racy emails has been relieved of his duties with the Army.
Pending the outcome of a Recruiting Command-led investigation, Capt. John Hintz has been relieved of his command of a recruiting unit in Iowa.
Hintz and Sebring exchanged racy emails from their work accounts while Sebring was employed as the Des Moines schools superintendent.
According to the Army Times, Hintz has served in the Army for 14-years and is the recipient of the General MacArthur Leadership Award, the Army Commendation Medal with “V” and the Purple Heart.
Nancy Sebring resigned her position with the Des Moines Schools after the emails surfaced.
