MURDER TRIAL: Witness Takes The Stand

Jessica McKellip witnessed the murder of Charles Freeborn. Thursday, she described what she saw that night in court. 

Richard Polak is accused of firing several shots into Jessica’s home on August 3rd.  One bullet hit and killed Charles Freeborn, but prosecutors believe that McKellip was the intended victim.

Prosecutors say the shooting was a result of Polak’s revenge regarding a drug deal that went wrong.

As McKellip starting telling the court Wednesday, in February, Polak was beaten and robbed at her home.

Thursday, however, McKellip focused on the events of August 3^rd, the night of the murder.
