PIZZA DELIVERY: Iowa Soldier Gets Tasty Surprise

Casey’s Pizza made a special delivery to our nation’s capital.

On May 3^rd, Petty Officer Taylor Morris, a Cedar Falls native, lost both of his arms and legs to an IED explosion in Afghanistan.

He’s been undergoing treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center for two months.

This week, the group “Hope for the Warriors” made a special delivery to Taylor from halfway across the country.

After hearing about Morris’s love for Casey’s pizza, the group had two pizzas flown to Washington DC where they were baked and delivered.

Morris is becoming a celebrity during his stay in Washington.  He and his family spent July 4th dining with the Obamas at the White House.
