BANK ROBBED: Suspect Still On The Loose

Des Moines police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in the Drake neighborhood Tuesday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m. the suspect walked into the U.S. Bank located at 24th and University Avenue. The suspect took off from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black make, mid to late 20′s, 5’7″ to 5’10″ tall, 150-175 pounds. He was wearing a white or gray shirt with stripes and gray pants with white tennis shoes.  He was also wearing large sunglasses. 

Police have yet to say how much money was taken.
