WORKER DEATH: Alcoa Employee Dies

Authorities are investigating the death of a worker at a Davenport manufacturing plant.

An Alcoa spokesperson says the accident happened at the Davenport works plant just before 8:00 Monday night. The worker was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. 

Alcoa and OSHA are investigating the death. The man’s name hasn’t been released.

The company is offering counseling for fellow employees.
