CENTER SECURITY: Science Center Changes

The Science Center of Iowa is showing The Dark Knight Rises at its I-Max dome theater.

Science Center staff says they plan to continue to screen all of the scheduled show times of the movie.

However, they are taking some additional precautions.

Christina Zink, with the Science Centers says, “We always have internal safety procedures because we have children in the building.  We always follow those, but with the news of Colorado, we reached out to the film producers and distributors as well as IMAX for any suggestions or procedures that they’d like us to follow and then we also are working with Des Moines Police on any suggestions they may have as well.”

The science center is also forbidding anyone to wear costumes to the screenings.
