COLORADO SHOOTING: President Speaks to Victims

It’s been an emotional weekend for the community of Aurora Colorado.

Memorials and vigils took place across the community to remember the 12 people killed and the 58 others injured during a shooting spree at a movie theater early Friday morning.

President Obama flew to Colorado Sunday to met with the victims’ families and let them know the thoughts and prayers of the whole nation are with them

“I think that the reason stories like this resonate with us we can all understand what it would be like to have someone taken from us in this fashion.  How it would impact us,”  the President said.

The suspected mass murderer James Holmes, will make his first appearance in court Monday morning.
