BANK ROBBERY: Suspect In Polk County Jail

An arrest has been made the robbery of a Des Moines bank last Friday.

Des Moines police say 33-year-old Deondree Amerison robbed the U.S. bank at 24^th and University July 17^th. He’s been charged with 2^nd degree robbery.

Police have not released how much money they believe Amerson got from the bank.

Amerson is in the Polk County Jail on unrelated charged.

Police say they may have more information to release in the case Wednesday.
