WATER WARNING: Attica, Pershing Boil Order

Pershing Water Utilities says there was a water main break Friday morning in the town of Attica, just southeast of Knoxville.

This affects people living in homes along Highway 5 from the town of Pershing to Attica.

A utilities spokesman says people in this area need to boil water used for drinking and cooking until all bacterial tests come back clear.
