LUCKY LOTTO: Mystery Millionaires Announced

Forty-nine lucky Iowans were announced Thursday, in the Mystery Millionaire drawing.

Thirty-four of them won the $10,000 prize, but the other 15 move on to the final drawing, where they could win between $25,000 and $1 million.

More than 197,000 tickets were entered in the promotion, where prize money came from two big jackpots that expired without being claimed during the past year.

The 15 semifinalists will attend the live event at the Iowa State Fair. Each will receive four fair admission tickets; two parking passes; hotel stay for two; admission for two to an exclusive dinner, and spending cash. Fifteen audience members will win prizes from $250 to $1,000 during the 1 p.m. final event.
