RIVER SEARCH: Crews Find Body

Rescue divers recovered the body of a 68-year-old Thailand native, Ames resident and ISU employee who was last seen fishing on the Des Moines River near Boone.

Witnesses say the man was crossing a shallow portion of the river while he was fishing when he fell into the water and didn’t resurface.
