PALIN VISIT: Sarah Palin in Iowa

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin made a surprise visit to Iowa tonight.

Palin showed up at the home of Bruce Rastetter in Hubbard. Here she poses for a photo with Hawkeye football coach Kirk Ferentz and his wife, Mary. Rastetter is a member of the Iowa Board of Regents and major Republican Party donor. Also, Governor Branstad, Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds, Congressmen Tom Latham and Steve King were there.

Palin dined on pork chops with the nearly 1,000 other dinner guests at the party and posed for pictures with numerous guests throughout the night.
