The Urbandale Police Department will be holding its 4th Annual National Night out on August 7, 2012 at the Urbandale Police Station 3740 86th Street from 5-7 pm. This is a free family friendly event. It is a carnival style event that promotes community partnerships and heightens crime and drug prevention awareness.
This is the 29th Annual Night Out sponsored by National Association of Town watch.
Media is strongly encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of video and photo opportunities. PIO Randy Peterson will be on hand to answer any questions or do on camera interviews.
The Urbandale Police Departments National Night Out won a National Award for Outstanding Participation in 2010 and 2011.
