NO LOVE: Lolo Gets Slammed In Article

Lolo Jones got a beating–and we’re not talking about the Olympics.  A scathing article in the New York Times slams the Des Moines native saying “Jones has decided she will be whatever anyone wants her to be ; vixen, virgin, victim ; to draw attention to herself and the many products she endorses.” 

Jones has drawn attention to herself, not just for racing, but for photos in ESPN The Magazine and the cover of Outside magazine.  And by telling the world that..at 30-years old–she remains a virgin. 

But Jones’ former youth coach, Phillip Furguson says the article goes too far.  “You know it’s really sad that somebody would write something at such a crucial time in somebody’s life that’s representing the United States of America”

Since the article ran, several more pieces have turned up on-line, mostly supporting Lolo.
