DEADLY ACCIDENT: One Dead In Colfax Accident

Authorities say one person has died after an afternoon accident on I-80 Wednesday. 

It happened around 1:30 near Colfax.

Officials say a vehicle headed westbound on I-80 rear-ended another vehicle, causing it to hit 23-year old Adam Baumert who was on the roadway removing debris. 

Baumert was pronounced dead. 

The accident is still under investigation.
