NOAH’S WHEELS: Generous Donations Help Child

Donations are picking up to help a Des Moines boy get a motorized wheelchair.

Eleven-year-old Noah Baumont is making the move from elementary to middle school this fall.

Noah’s lungs never fully formed so he’s on oxygen 24-hours a day. In elementary school he could stay in the same classroom but when he moves to middle school he’ll have to travel from class to class which will be stressful for his lungs.

B & B Grocery is helping Noah’s family raise money to get a wheelchair so he can keep up with his classmates.

As of Friday morning the donations to help Noah were up to $4,200.
