COE CONDITION: Toddler In Critical Condition

A Des Moines toddler remains in critical conditional at Mercy Hospital.

Two-year-old Aleena Coe was seriously injured Sunday when a TV fell on her.  Aleena’s family says she was playing in her living room when she pulled the large, older television off its stand.

Family members say doctors are performing a series of procedures, and add that Aleena is responding well.

Officials say the next couple days are vital to Aleena’s recovery.
