RESTAURANT WEEK: Local Dining Deals
Thirty-two of the Des Moines metro’s top restaurants are dishing out special meals beginning Friday.
The annual restaurant week begins Friday and runs through August 26th.
Participating restaurants prepare fixed-price lunch and dinner plates. It’s $25 for two lunches or $25 for one three-course dinner. The idea is to get you to try a new, local restaurant.
“Greater Des Moines is becoming known for our fantastic local dining options,” said Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Greg Edwards. “Restaurant Week provides locals and visitors yet another reason to get out and enjoy our area eateries.”
Last year more than 19,000 people participated, contributing about a quarter of a million dollars to the local economy.
Restaurant week is in its fifth year.
