CAMPAIGN STOP: President And First Lady Visit
The president visited the fair without his family on Monday, Wednesday the First Lady joined her husband on the last leg of his 3-day swing across the state.
Wednesday, the President and First Lady were in eastern Iowa. They made two campaign stops: one in Dubuque and one in Davenport.
Of course there were plenty of surprise visits along the way; one was at Cascade High School, where the President spoke with teachers. He thanked them for their work, and took a few questions before leaving for the amphitheater in Dubuque.
There, the President urged the 3,000 people to go vote, and touched on several key issues including health care.
He told supporters, “So if Mr. Romney and Congressman Ryan want to spend the next two and a half years having same argument we had about healthcare all over again, they can feel free to do that, but the Supreme Court has spoken, it’s the law of the land. We are moving forward to give every American the health security that they deserve, that is the difference in this election.”
Wednesday night the President was in Davenport for his final campaign stop.
