DRIVING DRUNK: Man Arrested With BAC of .627

North liberty police are investigating a first, a driver with a blood alcohol level nearly eight times the legal limit.

Twenty four-year old Justin Clark was arrested on July 29th.  He was found sitting in his car parked in the front lawn of a north liberty home.

Police say Clark was unable to get out of the car, unable to walk and unable to take field sobriety tests.

Clark was taken to the hospital where tests showed his blood alcohol level was .627.

Clark is charged with drunk driving and multiple traffic violations.
