WEST NILE: More Iowa Cases Reported
Iowa officials say there are now two more cases of West Nile in the state.
It follows a national trend of an increase in the mosquito transmitted virus.
The new cases are being reported in Plymouth and Grundy counties. There’s no word on the victims’ ages but officials say both are making a full recovery.
Officials reported the first case about two weeks ago in Lyon County.
An older adult woman there contracted the virus and made a full recovery.
Experts say the number of cases this year are in line with last year’s numbers.
