COOKIE CAUSE: Hy-Vee Cookies For A Cure

The Leukemia Lymphoma Society received a sweet check from Hy-Vee Tuesday.

The money came from Hy-Vee’s Cookies for a Cure campaign.  Hy-Vee donated a penny for each cookie sold during the two week campaign in July. 

This is the second year of the campaign and 19 metro stores participated.  In total, Hy-Vee raised more than $10,000 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. 

The money will go towards research and patient services and will stay right here in the community.
