SENDOFF CEREMONY: Iowa National Guard Deploys

Some Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers will say goodbyes to their families this week.

60 members of the 1034th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion will deploy for a yearlong tour in Afghanistan. 

A community sendoff ceremony will take place at 11:30 on Tuesday at the Freedom Center Building at Camp Dodge.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
