West Des Moines police are hoping the public can help identify two people wanted in connection with the use of counterfeit cash.

Police say a male and female used a fake $100 bill at the Kohl’s at 6515 Mills Civic Pkwy on August 21st. They purchased a small item with the fake money and left in a silver sedan.

Police have released images taken from surveillance video at the store.

If you have any information on the identity of the man and woman you’re asked to contact Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
