THIRD PARTY: Candidate Might Not Make Ballot
President Obama and Mitt Romney will both be on the ballot this November, but a third party candidate might not make the cut.
Gary Johnson is the Libertarian candidate for president.
Two people filed an objection to his candidacy last week arguing Johnson was not nominated in a convention and he failed to turn in a petition with 1,500 voter signatures.
One or the other is required to appear on the ballot.
A hearing on the objections will take place Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Lucas Building in Des Moines.
