IOWA SPEEDWAY: 2013 Races Announced

The Iowa Speedway in Newton has announced its 2013 racing schedule.

There aren’t Sprint Cup races on the schedule yet, although Rusty Wallace tells Channel 13’s Keith Murphy he thinks that will happen in 2014.

In 2013, there will be two NASCAR Nationwide Series races, two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, and an IZOD Indy car race.

Specific times and details on the races aren’t available yet.

“Once we have all the support series races and start times locked in, we will announce those as well, but for right now we wanted to get the word out on when fans should plan to be at Iowa Speedway next year,” says Iowa Speedway CEO Doug Fritz.
