OTTUMWA POLICE: Men Stole Championship Belts

Two Ottumwa men have been arrested in connection with the theft of championship wrestling belts.

Ottumwa police say the belts belong to the national professional wrestling organization TNA Enterprises and were stolen during a TNA performance at the Bridgewater Center on August 18th. A championship belt valued at $6,000 and a replica belt worth $400 were taken.

Police arrested 33-year-old Joel Luke Wednesday in the case and he is charged with 2nd degree theft. Thirty-nine-year-old Forrest Jamison was arrest Thursday and he faces a charge of accessory after the fact.

Both men have bonded out of the Wapello County Jail.
