GRAND OPENING: Special Play Center In Urbandale

The Des Moines area is welcoming the opening of the first Gigi’s Playhouse to Central Iowa.

Gigi’s Playhouse will celebrate the grand of opening of the therapeutic play center.

The playhouse is down syndrome awareness center designed to provide free resources, specialized teaching, and support to individuals with down syndrome and their families.

The new center was designed by the Board of Directors, who consulted with speech professionals, occupational, and physical therapists, and physicians who specialize in working with children with down syndrome.

The grand opening is being held from 10 a.m. to 12p.m. on Saturday at Gigi’s Playhouse on New York Avenue in Urbandale.
