MEMORIAL SERVICE: ISU Students Remember Mack
Iowa State University students gathered to memorialize a respected teacher Friday.
Barbara Mack died at her Des Moines home on August 23rd from a sudden illness. She was 59 years old.
Mack’s students and those she inspired met for a service on central campus.
Teaching journalism courses at Iowa State for 25 years, it was apparent from those who attended, Mack left a big impact on many lives.
“She was demanding she set high standards, but she deeply cared about the individual success of all of her students,” Dr. Gregory Geoffroy said.
